Javed Ch fired Najam Sethi

Some days ago renowned columnist and anchor person of Express news TV Javed Ch wrote a column in which he highlighted the character of Najam sethi,editor of 'Daily Times' and Governor Punjab Salman Taseer. This has evolved a controversy.

Javed Ch writes" In 1997 Najam sethi visited India and there ridicule the Pakistan ideology and the principles of Islam . Moreover , Najam sethi is running a NGO in Lahore which is sponsored by India and America because of its Anti Pakistan ideology. Najam sethi blatantly criticizes the fundamentals of Islam and is very fond of dogs".

Javed Ch writes further" Musharraf has told me in his meeting that Najam sethi compelled me to carry out Lal masjid operation and after the operation these people ran away".

Javed ch is cautious of the fact that new government is also acting in the hands of people like Najam sethi because these people are no good for any government nor for people of this country .

Moreover, Javed Ch has also wrote on Salman taseer saying he has millions of tax to pay and he has married a sikh women in India and he has a son from her too but why he has kept all this secret and recently he has been found to transfer his money abroad. Javed Ch requests President Zardari to order a investigation against Governor Salman taseer as well.

Although the apology of group editor Abbas Ather has published the next day but we have to admit that this is the first column of such nature by Javed Ch and we dont know what was his inspiration.

Tuesday,Sept,16;President Zardari has met British PM Gordon Brown and raised the problem of attacks from across the border on Pakistani soil.
After the meeting,talking to media ,Zardari expressed his hope that there would be no attacks on our soil from across the border. Zardari visit to U.S from 21st will be crucial in this respect and decisive too.
Zardari i s a politician and he should present the case in a different way than the previous unelected regime of Musharraf.
American Admiral Michael Mullen has also reached Pakistan and he has met with PM Gillani and Chief of army staff Gen Kiyani. This visit is very significant after Pakistan's protest to the U.S attacks.

Zaradri must restore Chief justice Iftikhar Ch.

Presidential elections are over and Asif Zardari is the new President of Pakistan. Besides other issues there is a grave issue of judiciary. Judiciary is called a vital pillar of state but unfortunately in our country over nearly a year now, our judiciary is not working at all. PCO judges are reluctant to give any just decision as much as their own appointment and job is based on injustice.

The man behind all the chaos and confusion is none other than PPP law minister Farooq h.naik . He has proved himself a true successor of Wasi Zafar and also new Attorney General is not behind at all. These two men have given the task to confuse the whole situation and make these brave and just judges controversial.

Asif Zardari must not forget that by delaying the restoration of chief justice he is not only losing popular support but also it is hurting his reputation badly. Numerous deadlines given by Nawaz sharif for the restoration of judiciary has resulted in breaking of the coalition government and if Zardari want the government to stabilize and with with harmony with all segments of political parties then he must restore the judiciary on NOV,3 position.

It is point of great concern that second largest political party of this country do not believe in current judiciary and everyday the condemnation statements are issued by their Leadership. Just think what effect this would make on the layman who is unaware of whole situation.

Zardari has to realize by not restoring judiciary is he following the footsteps of Musharraf or the people who voted for him?.Late Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had also promised to restore chief justice and hoist the flag over his house by her hands.

Zaradri got elected President

sep,6:Asif Ali Zardari has been elected the President of Pakistan by overwhelming majority.He replaces a military retired general who got elected for first tie just last year but he could not even complete his one year as elected President.

It is an occasion for shame for all those who voted for Musharraf on Oct,6 last year.They must have thought why their President did not completed one year term as elected President.

Asif Zardari being the first civilian President after 9 years has to work diligently to bring this country out of this chaos and poor condition.Only time will tell whether he proves an independent,non-political President or President like Musharraf.

Appraising gestures are shown by Mian Nawaz Sharif and congratulations are also given by Mushahid Hussain Syed.It seem that both candidates have admitted their defeat and it seems that country is now progressing towards non -confrontations t politics where all parties can say whatever they do.

It is a heartening scene we witnessed yesterday that three candidates participated in elections whereas last year Presidential elections saw just one uniformed president contested elections.

Ahmed Faraz passed away

Ahmed Faraz ,a legendary and perhaps greatest romantic

poet of Pakistan has passed away.This news has sent a wave of deep sorrow and regret all over the country.He was renowned all over the world and an inspiration for millions around the world.
It was just under a year when i first met him infront of supreme court of Pakistan .He was also attending the protest against Musharraf candidacy for 3rd time president alongwith lawyers and our police honoured him with tear gas .He could not control his tears and was gone from the scene soon.
His poetry will be a torch for the lovers ,a serenity for old and motivation for brave.
May ALLAH rest his soul in peace.
On his sad demise i start 2 weeks of mobile-off in his sorrow.i also appeal to whole nation to join me in this noble act in memeory of Late Ahmed faraz.

Past nine years have seen Musharraf never so hesitant to move on and take decisions to move forward and it is understandable when 16 million people rejected a person ,hardly anyone thought he could stay that long after Feb,18 elections.
Ruling coalition has announced for the impeachment of Musharraf It shows a moral victory of Nawaz Sharif's stand that of impeachment of Musharraf and restoration of judiciary on Nov,3 position .Although Mr .Zardari has never met Musharraf but his ministers like Ahmed Mukhtar ,Farooq naik and Shah Mehmood Qureshi has time to time advised Musharraf to carry on his duties as President.
At least state of confusion has ended now after the yesterday's press conference in presence of all coalition partners.Mo ulna Fazlur Rahman has bad habit of taking everything in negative perspective so is all the local molvis of ours.Whatever the condition may be ,he will try to give it a negative colour.He is an absent minded person and closely resembles with bloody Altaf Hussein of mqm.
How Nawaz sharif and Asif ZArdari change the system of evil developed over the last 8 years in this country is a big question mark.First of all they must bring loyal people on top positions and sideline people like Farooq A .Naik ,Ahmed Mukhtar and Lateef Khosa.

Bush escaped again a near end

Mr.Bush was addressing an independence day ceremony at Monte Celo in Virginia.All of a sudden some people start protesting and calling him a war criminal and demanding for his impeachment.After this ,they made such noise that it was impossible for Bush to continue his speech.Some people even tried to reach the stage ,perhaps they want to impeach Bush their selves.

It is not new or unique event in Bush's 8 years at White House .Wherever he goes,he has to listen voices against himself.Although he calls it democracy but he is deeply shocked when theocracy reached is own homeland.

When Bush went to Australia,a former British colony ;he has to face strong protest against himself .At his arrival in India,one hundred thousand people demanded for not allowing him to enter their country.In Indonesia,huge gathering chanted slogans for the ouster of Bush from their homeland but Bush being ashamed called it a democracy.He would have thought why not these protests were carried out against Clinton s or Reagan's,why only Bush?.

Bush term is coming to an end and next 4 months would take him away from the world sight and tony Blair being th wisest of three has already departed but intact the second after Bush is Mush.Both Blair and Bush came in power through the power of ballot but their loyal dog Mush came through bullet power and it is also a shock to see that where Bush and Blair attacked and occupied others countries ,Mr Mush attacked and occupied his own country and killed and sold his own fellow countrymen.

Make or break -Nawaz vs Zardari

The American pressure is increasing day by day for military attack as our coalition leaders continue to rest abroad and not willing to come home.PPP has decided in its recent meeting in Dubai that there will be an extension in federal cabinet.PPP is willing to bring back PML-N in federal cabinet but it does not seems possible at this time.

It is evident now that Zardari is not willing to restore judges ,his words are just words like Murree declaration .As far as constitutional package is concerned ,it does not looks to passed by Parliament.Coalition does not have two-third majority in both houses of Parliament and thus constitutional package is no mare than a joke and a time pass game.

The forth coming meeting of Nawaz Sharif with Asif Zardari is going to be decisive and political pundits are predicting some big decision to be taken in this meeting .It is dependent on PPP whether it continues with the same partner sitting outside the cabinet and supporting the government or whether it enjoins Q league again in the cabinet ?.This is a million dollar question.

PPP government has sent shivers to all those expectations which people had from them and untimely departure of PPP chairperson has made an ill and uneducated person as its chairperson who lacks the ability to take decisions and act wisely.The man whom Benazir Bhutto never allowed to enter politics in her whole life but he has made himself the chairperson of a single largest party of a country .This is the misery of this nation that we fell into the hands of a landlord who never gave up his own priorities for the sake of his homeland.

Nawaz Sharif being the senior and experienced partner of coalition must act wisely and must guide Zardari but what one can do if no one is willing to listen and remain totally drunk in power.

Death sentence should be abolished

On the birthday of Benazir Bhutto this year,her party Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani has announced that death sentence would be abolished from this country.This announcement by PM has sent a wave of joy for all those waiting for death sentence for years .They do not count themselves in living beings nor in dead.This is the misery of this nation that most of these waiting are innocent.

Human rights watch has also pressured the new government for abolishing the death penalty.It is a bitter fact that America still maintains death penalty but there is also complete justice whereas in our country there are enormous complexities and class difference.Rich people exploit the poor for their evil interests.

Where this announcement of abolishing death penalty is welcomed by international groups and organizations,there is severe reaction in our religious and orthodox segment of society.They call it part of greater conspiracy against Islam and abolishing death penalty would mean a safe passage for the one denied to isalm's fundamental basic of no more prophet.

Some people are saying that this is all done to give Musharraf a safe passage because there is strong belief that Musharraf will be tried after his removal from power.PPP government behavior is clear that Musharraf should be given a safe passage but PML-N has to decide which way this country is going to head because they represent the people of the bigggest province of this country.

Hussain Huqqani-From Hero to zero

Pakistan's new ambassador to America mr.Hussain Huqqani in his recent interview with 'Kashif Abbasi'of ''ARY ONE WORLD'' has said that Pakistan cannot stop the U.S bombings in its area because we do not have the technology .what an absurd answer.suppose,if we accept this nonsense idea then question arises why not u.s attack or dare to attack Iran?.is Iran powerful country than us?.can Iran target b-52 palns flying at 60,000 km above ground?.

Hussain Huqqani before his designation as ambassador ,reached several years in u.s universities and recently he used to come in intellectual pro grammes of various urdu channels of Pakistan.His views were quite rational and he had a common Pakistani approach;but God knows what pills he got from Americans that he completely took a u-turn in his views and made himself even bigger supporter of u.s war on terror than our retired cursed general Pervez Musharraf.One can understand the plight of Musharraf ;being a military man and taking power through a coup;but what about Huqqani.a true patriotic , a professor teaching in American universities,and moreover,a civilian,its quite hard to understand the suden drift of mind in Huqqani case.

Mr.Huqqani's behaviour was also too rude with Pakistani Journalists the other day and also with 'Kashif Abbasi' as well.Mr. Huqqani must not get fooled by just sitting in Washington but he should remember the end result of Musharraf and his allied 'Q'league if he also carried on be fooling Pakistanis.

Samad khurram;Pride of Pakistan

It was a very well conducted prize giving ceremony by American Ambassador to Pakistan Ann.w.Patterson,until name of Samad Khurram was called .He simply came on the stage and virtually overlooked the Ambassador and the wife of our newly army chief.He then moved on the rostrum and told the cause of his action.

Infact,samad Khurram represented the whole Pakistani nation through his brave behavior in front of a tyrant.It was an occasion of immense disdain for the ambassador and shame for all those who call themselves Pakistanis and shook hand with devilish Americans.It is a matter of common concern that not even a single conscious and patriotic Pakistani would like to shake hand with any American regardless of his position and status.

America has indeed become symbol of all evil and hate all around the world .Day by day,this phenomenon is increasing at a brisk pace and evil intentions of neo-Cons in white house are the main people for this devilish face of America.

The change in White house might reduce this effect to some extent but it will take decades to wipe out the perceptions of the world that have made in people minds all around the world in George Bush's 8 years.

Nadal beats Federer in thrilling Wimbledon final

It was the final of wimbledon that most will remember for whole of their lives and even told their grand children.Yes,It was Roger Federer vs Rafael Nadal.Both players were unbeaten and had only lost one set apiece before reaching the final.

Nadal broke Federer serve in very early of 1st set and also able to win 2nd set as well but man he was facing on the other side of the court was non other than Roger Federer who had 65 match win record on grass.

After losing 2 straight sets ,Federer has to show his best tennis to claim 6th consecutive Wimbledon title and also break the record of great Bjorn Borg of winning 5 consecutive Wimbledon titles.

But,it was a bad day for roger and 5th set lengthen to 8-6 when Federer missed a forehand and thus provided a crucial break to Nadal and the rest was history.

Final was interrupted two times by rain and continued for 4 and half hours ,the longest final ever in Wimbledon history.It was a thrilling contest which saw a new Wimbledon Champion emerged from the darkness of two previous lost finals
